Leah Kate Romero is a musical theatre performer based in New York City, currently pursuing her B.A. in Theatre Performance at Wagner College. Leah is known for her lyric soprano voice and stylistic range, including strong mix and belt technique. She is passionate about bridging the gap between classic and contemporary musical theatre genres, which she demonstrates in her work. Most recently, Leah wrapped filming as a featured dancer in Green Door Productions's newest television pilot, titled Broadcasting 101.

Leah is a versatile and collaborative artist, always leading with kindness, empathy, and an open heart. She has a zest for being an honest, authentic storyteller, and uses her dramatic instincts to deliver heartwarming, grounded, and emotionally resonant performances to audiences. Her previous theatrical experiences span regional theatre in Equity houses, children's theatre, new works, film and television work, and performances at popular New York City venues such as 54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, and The Green Room 42.

A strong musician with perfect pitch, as well as an advanced dancer with a technical ballet foundation and passion for musical theatre tap and jazz styles, Leah loves nothing more than bringing a variety of characters to life onstage. Additionally, Leah has a positive reputation for her consistency and dedication, which has earned her the positions of understudy, swing, and dance captain for various productions. Whether she is performing in a principal role or an ensemble, Leah never fails to bring emotional depth, truth, joy, and a fresh perspective to her work.

Besides performing on the stage or screen, Leah has a multitude of other passions, including choreography, music direction, writing, social media content creation, and working as a singing party princess. She also serves as a teaching artist for young, aspiring actors enrolled in Stage 74 Summer Theater's pre-professional program.
