who's that girl?

At a young age, Leah knew that she was passionate about the performing arts. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, she started dancing when she was three years old and was obsessed with old movie musicals, such as Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Summer Stock.

Leah eventually started listening to the Wicked soundtrack, which was based off of The Wizard of Oz's story, one of her childhood favorites. She fell in love with the character, Glinda, and every single day after kindergarten, she would sing through the entire soundtrack (as every character) for her grandfather. She knew that she wanted to perform on a Broadway stage one day and tell stories for the rest of her life when she saw the Broadway musical at the age of five, and watched Glinda's first entrance by bubble in awe.

To this day, Glinda is still Leah’s #1 dream role!

Years later, at the age of ten, Leah would play Dorothy Gale in her school’s summer theatre production of The Wizard of Oz, which then prompted her to get more serious and determined to pursue a career in the arts.

Leah's Story!

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit shortly after Leah made her regional theatre debut in Theatre Three's annual production of A Christmas Carol, Leah took every opportunity she could to continue doing what she loved most, which included training online with several acting schools, such as the Stella Adler Studio of Actingand participating in readings of new musicals with Broadway's Taylor Louderman. Throughout her high school career, after live theatrical performances resumed, Leah co-directed Almost, Maine at Mount Sinai Performing Arts, received the East End Arts Teeny Award for Best Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Mount Sinai Performing Arts, received the Long Island Scholar Artist Award for Theatre and was featured in Newsdaymade her 54 Below debut, and attended Penn State University's pre-college musical theatre summer intensive.

In the summer of 2024, Leah had the privilege to return to the 54 Below stage to perform in Sound Mind, Sound Heart, a benefit concert supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. As a vocal mental health activist, Leah was so grateful to have been a part of this project and share the stage with notable Broadway performers, such as Patrick Page and Paige Davis.

Currently, Leah is pursuing her BA in Theatre Performance (with a minor in Psychology!) at Wagner College in New York City. She recently appeared in Wagner's productions of Fun Home as Helen Bechdel, To Be Seen as the production's one-and-only dance swing, and Wagner College Opera's The Magic Flute. Additionally, she performed in her third 54 Below cabaret in April 2025, which was a night dedicated entirely to Broadway's iconic soprano pieces, as well as a staged reading of select musical scenes from The Soprano's Revenge, a developing musical comedy written by Meg Loy.

Recently, Leah started teaching and choreographing for Stage 74's Summer Theatre Camp, located in Commack, New York. Leah had the opportunity to be a part of Stage 74's adult company, The Star Playhouse, for their 2023-2024 season, where she appeared in their professional productions of The Crucible as Mary Warren, Into the Woods as Rapunzel, and The Music Man as a member of the Teen Ensemble, as well as serving as the production's dance captain. During the summer of 2025, she was invited back to work closely with young children and teenagers on two full-scale musical productions and lead workshops in areas such as audition technique, commercial acting, stage combat, and improvisation.

When Leah isn't performing, she's most likely spending time with her friends, shopping for something pink, drinking a strawberry lemonade Poppi, petting a stray cat, listening to Noah Kahan, reading a book, watching a rom-com or psychological thriller, or living out her dreams of being (working as) a princess at Royal Princess Prep Entertainment!
